TV Aerials

Do you need a new TV aerial?

If you choose a digital TV service like Freeview, BT Vision or Top-up TV you will need to consider your aerial. If you have a satellite or cable service on all your TVs, you don't need an aerial. Most people with a good aerial now will not need a new aerial for switchover. There is no such thing as a 'digital aerial'

The condition of your aerial

If you already have a Freeview service and have poor reception, it is likely to improve at switchover when the power of the digital signal will be increased.

If you currently have poor reception on your analogue TV, then you may need to replace your aerial at switchover

IRS system installation for communal properties delivers a complete range of TV and radio signals to every home.

An Integrated Reception System (IRS) gives the widest choice by providing a full range of TV and radio signals to every home. It is most commonly used for communal properties throughout the UK and provides the option of receiving digital TV through an aerial or satellite dish and provides a greater choice for users.

The basic IRS system (5-wires) delivers TV signals (either through the aerial or satellite dish) to the receivers exactly as if they were connected directly to their own aerial or dish,

For residents whose first language is not English, it is possible to have additional satellite dishes added to the system to receive foreign language services.

To find out more about IRS systems please contact us today on 01276 473800

Fibre OpticFibre Optis Installs

Fibre Optic satellite and distribution is a technology that enables satellite tv signals from the antenna to be distributed using a single fibre optic cable infrastructure and then is converted to electrical signals for use with conventional set-top boxes.

The dish can be sited as far away as 10km away from the property. This is an excellent solution for people who suffer with weak signals, mountainous aerials, black spots and heavy tree or forestry locations

Fibre Optic can be the best solution for either 1 single property or can be networked for commercial use, flats & housing schemes etc, to produce the highest and best signal quality.
